The capital of Abitibi, Rouyn-Noranda, is hosting the International Kekeko this winter, the great sled dog race. That day, Rodolphe Galarneau, a newcomer to this universe, did not suspect for a moment that he would finish on the Podium.

Yves Patrick Beaulieu:
The writer is a French Canadian writer who lives in Quebec, in north-western Quebec, more precisely in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, a region located in the heart of the Canadian boreal forest. The author does it again ten years later with a second novel: “The Hermitage” which also receives a fine tribute from his adopted region.
